04/08/2020: WeAreVirtual: Microagression – your rights & how to deal with it webinar | Paula Rhone-Adrien

Paula Rhone-Adrien - microaggression, Webinar

Barristers, like myself, who go to Court every day, are self employed.

We are independent contractors, and yet, we have to collaborate, manage, and negotiate our way around various different work scenes and have a number of ‘bosses’ all seeking our immediate attention, which if not received, result in stressful outcomes.

Micro-aggression manifests itself both consciously and subconsciously within the workplace. It impacts upon your personal trajectory and if not managed appropriately, has catastrophic outcomes for you and or the business within which you work.

It’s important for all of us to understand how micro-aggression infiltrates the workplace, infects the working environment and can, if left untreated, breed a toxic environment, where staff no longer reach their potential.

The webinar will educate you on how and why getting to grips with micro-aggression in the workplace is so important and how to apply effective strategies, including robust conflict resolution, to ensure the issue is properly dealt with.

If you have or are suffering from micro-aggressive bullying, then tune in to understand the aggressors behaviour and non combative, winning approaches, that you can use to alleviate the pressure. I will also give you some practical legal tips and information on how employment tribunals approach such cases.
