07/09/19: A Girls’ Hike Out | Care International

A Girl's Hike Out

What’s even better than a girls’ night out? Why, a girls’ hike out of course! (you could even do both in one day)

Yes, it’s a marathon-distance walk but it’s a totally achievable marathon!

You’ll walk side by side with other women just like you as you wind your way along the River Lea from Hertfordshire, all the way to the spectacular Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London.

By taking part and pledging to raise at least £250, you’ll support women and girls living in poverty around the world, helping them to take control over their lives.

All participants are awarded a hand-painted CARE medal at the finish line and if you raise £200 by the end of August you’ll also receive a CARE t-shirt to wear on the day.

By taking part in A Girls’ Hike Out 2019, you’ll not only have a fantastic experience, you’ll also be helping some of the world’s poorest women and girls to find a way out of poverty.

CARE is one of the world’s leading aid agencies, fighting poverty, and helping vulnerable people in over 75 countries around the world. We deliver long-term programs to fight poverty, with a specific focus on women and girls.
