The pictures above are just a few from last year’s Great Ethiopian Run trip. Over four days our team took in the sights and cuisine of Addis Ababa, ran the 10K with 40,000 other people and visited our partner AWSAD’s safe house to see exactly what kind of work their fundraising could support.
Could you or anyone you know join this year’s team and come with us on this trip of a lifetime? The race is taking place in Addis Ababa, Africa’s highest capital, on Sunday 22 November 2015 and the trip will be from Friday 20 – Tuesday 24 November. The fundraising target is £2500, and this includes everything – flights, accommodation and food.
One of last year’s runners, Louise, said: “The race could be called the biggest moving festival in Africa – friendly, welcoming, a big party atmosphere”.
If you’re interested in taking part please come along to our information evening on Tuesday 21 April (venue TBC but will be near Old Street tube station in London). We’ll tell you all about this year’s trip, let you know how last year’s runners fundraised and you’ll have the chance to ask one of the previous runners all about their experience last year.
