26/10/2016: Millennial Woman Initiative | Women in Banking and Finance

women in banking and finance

Women in Banking and Finance are excited to announce their Millennial Woman Initiative.

The initiative will provide regular events and cover corporate culture navigation, career management, networking and mentoring; reaching out to young women at earlier stages in their career.

WIBF appreciate there is a gap in the engagement and professional development offerings for young professional women in the banking and finance industry.  There is currently a lack of focus on the retention of female professionals at the earlier stages of their career and this fact alone suggests there is a leak in the female talent pipeline. WIBF want to do more to not only solve the issue, but also encourage and support the next generation of leaders in the banking and finance industry to reach their full potential.

WIBF will be launching the millennial initiative with a panel event; it will consist of a keynote speaker followed by a panel discussion. After the event there will be an opportunity for Q&A and then networking.

This event is suitable for early career to mid-management level women (3-6 years) in finance and related industries, university & business school women.
