Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Unit accountant role for Finance, management reporting, results analysis and review, business partnering, as required
  • Assist with planning, processing and reporting of the annual budget / forecast and rolling forecast exercises.
  • Decision making responsibilities where appropriate, particularly relating to budgeting, forecasting, financial and management accounting issues.
  • Liaise with other members of the department, Unit Accountants, and management to promote sound financial control.
  • Assist with the production of papers and reports to Executive Team, Franchise Board, Council, and Audit Committee, as required.
  • Provide cover for other members of the team, as required
  • Assist the Reporting Manager “” UK and Reporting Manager “” Corporation with ad-hoc tasks as required.

Generic Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Health & Safety

  • Ensure self reads and understands the Lloyd’s “˜Health and Safety at Work’ Policy
  • Fulfil duty of care, ensuring that self takes reasonable care of themselves and others to help Lloyd’s meet its responsibilities under the Health and Safety legislation

Information Security

  • Ensure self reads, understands and adheres to the Lloyd’s “˜Information Security’ Policy

Business Continuity Planning

  • Understand the recovery procedures for their key business activities in the event of any major operational disruption.
