Due to popular demand, the award winning part-time Anna Fiorentini Theatre & Film School for 4 – 18 year olds will be holding several summer schools.

The school has been running for 13 years and has launched the careers of many young people on television, film and in the theatre.

Branches of this school can be found in Hackney, Docklands, North London, Bethnal Green and Lewisham and run on Saturdays and weekday evenings.

The staff team are made up of industry professionals who are not only top of their game but also have a great rapport with young people.

The courses on offer include:

28th July – 1st August

Become a Pop Star in a Week – for 7-18 year olds

Students will re-create and film their own music video. They will learn a “Diva” inspired dance routine and song which will then be filmed by industry professionals. Choreography will be inspired by artists dominating the music industry such as Beyonce, Britney, Timberlake and Rihanna.

Quentin Blake’s Nonsense Verse – for 4 – 6 year olds

A week of fun drama, dance and song activities based around the theme of silly poems and funny rhymes. Exploring the classic world of children’s nonsense poems by Roald Dahl, Lewis Carroll, Roger McGough and Edward Lear. This week will culminate in a show of your (and their) favourite children’s poetry.

18th – 22nd August

poppins picPerform in a Musical – for 7 – 18 year olds

Students will have classes in singing, acting and dance and will perform in their very own musical at the end of the week for family and friends. This course also includes a trip to see the West End’s Matilda

Fairy Tale Extravaganza – for 4 – 6 year olds

What would happen if Little Red Riding Hood met Goldilocks in the woods on the way to Grandpa’s house? Or Cinderella fell asleep for a hundred years? Inspired by Hilary Robinson’s “Mixed Up Fairy Tales”, children will use dance, drama and song to explore the wonderful world of Fairy Tales.
