Browns Bar & Brasserie, Nrst Tube West India Quay
West India Quay as its name suggests took ships and cargo from the Caribbean. The Browns restaurant is housed in a sugar warehouse, built in the early nineteenth century by Napoleonic Prisoners of War.
It has the lowest ceilings of any Browns, witness to the fact that sugar because of its weight could only be stored to a height of 8 feet!
