This blog from Abigail Nash will be all about about keeping those plates spinning and about mixing metaphors because I am too tired to untangle them. Expect musings on the mundane (how to stay awake in a meeting when you haven’t had a decent night’s sleep for four years), the miraculous (I got out the door without so much as a splash of baby milk on my work clothes) and mucus. Well, there are kids involved.
WeAreTheCity.com was founded in April 2008 and launched in September 2008, with the aim of providing information to women who wish to progress in their careers via networking and events. The concept of the website is to provide services that not only help women develop themselves both personally and professionally, but also contributes to a wider strategy of supporting working women in the UK more broadly by bringing together the charity sector and potential entrepreneurs on to one common platform.
WeAreTheCity staff are all working remotely as per the UK government's advisory. We are always looking at ways we can support women in business remotely and have launched a series of FREE virtual events (WeAreVirtual) to help support everyone in their careers and their well being. This could not be possible without the support of our network and we are very thankful for the time given by all of our speakers at these sessions.
