The Charing Cross Guoman Hotel, which is attached to Charing Cross Station, makes for comfortable and conveniently situated stay in central London.

Less than a minutes’ walk away from Waterloo Bridge, this recently renovated hotel has an air of regality about it.

Ignacio welcomed us at reception and was professional, friendly and also rather easy on the eye, he quickly checked us in and directed us to our room.

The room itself was delightfully spacious and had a functional and stylish layout, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the duvet and pillows were clearly made of good quality fabric.

We went to an event in Great Titchfield Street and suffice to say, we slept very well that night (nothing to do with the free cocktails I promise!).

Breakfast – where do I start, cheeses cold meats, cooked selection, mouthwatering warm fresh and good quality, no tinned mushrooms here and I would expect that for £22.

The best thing about the hotel was its location and the seriously comfortable bed, I don’t usually sleep well in hotels so it really did surprise me when I had a good nights sleep, the only downside was the fact that the room was slightly warm.

Would I recommend it, yes absolutely.
