Alexander McQueen and Mulberry are set to return to London Fashion Week today, after the British Fashion Council’s announcement back in December.
Moving his show from Paris to London for one season only, Alexander McQueen will be showcasing his Autumn/Winter 2016 collection. Having moved his show to France in 2001, McQueen is set to be the highlight of London Fashion Week.
Mulberry is also making a comeback to London Fashion Week, having not shown a collection since 2013. This year will see the first creative offering of new creative director, Johnny Coca. Coca joined Mulberry back in July last year after leaving French fashion house, Céline.
Also featuring this year at LFW are other British favourites such as Burberry, Vivienne Westwood, Christopher Kane and for the first time, Charlotte Olympia. The accessory brand will make their debut on Friday 19th February.
Both the Mulberry and Alexander McQueen shows are scheduled for Sunday 21st February with the latter expected to be the highlight of LFW. You can view the entire schedule for London Fashion Week here.
London Fashion Week will also be showing the International Fashion Showcase series, which will highlight work by emerging designers from across 25 different countries.
LFW will once again return to Brewer Street car park in Soho, following on from last years move from Somerset House.
