This week’s WeAreTheCity’s Twitter Chat focused on dealing with change, which touched on topics such as adapting to change, how to use it to our advantage, coping with change and tips on how to deal with it.
The lively discussion saw both men and women engaging from lots of different professions and industries come together to discuss their best advice and experiences on dealing with change. The purpose of this weeks Twitter Chat was for our Rising Stars, judges and WeAreTheCity members to share their advice, opinions and experience on motivation. We would like to take this opportunity to extend our thanks to all who took part.
There were so many top tips during the tweet chat, here are just a few from our wonderful ladies and gentlemen. You can see the full conversation by looking up #watctop100 on Twitter or by following @WATC_Updates.

@WATC_Updates I think people fear change because habit is comforting, as is knowing everything but it’s also safe and sometimes boring!

@WATC_Updates change always requires some kind of adjustment which can be scary but you have to fight the fear and do it anyway #watctop100

I don’t cope with change, I handle it! Language is so important and empowers or disempowers us. #positivechange https://t.co/e2pPLVr8Wm

@WATC_Updates often people want change but fear the unknown. Better to analyse risk v reward and looking at it for what it is..

Convincing people that change is necessary. It’s hard to appreciate that the way it’s always been done isn’t right. https://t.co/PiQX2TvZei
