Connected Women NC

Connected Women of North Carolina (CWNC) is a nonprofit networking group with the mission of connecting professional women across the Triangle who share a passion for technology, leadership and networking. CWNC is dedicated to helping women develop as professionals and leaders while networking and supporting each other and giving back to the community.

Founded in 2006 by a group of local women business leaders, Connected Women of North Carolina (CWNC) hosts networking and professional development events to empower and motivate women to take charge of their lives and careers.

The guiding principle for CWNC is "by the women, for the women and community." Volunteer-led, this group thrives and grows due to broad community participation in proposing, planning and executing events to address the interest and needs of local professional women. CWNC is governed by an operating committee whose members contribute their time and expertise to this group.
