The EFG London Jazz Festival is the ‘best jazz festival on the planet’ and returns to the city this November for ten days of all things related.

The festival is a chance for enthusiast, music fans and visitors to come together and events will take place all across the city. A number of artists have already been confirmed to perform including Average White Band & Kokomo, Melody Gardot, Cassandra Wilson, Ice-T and Andy Sheppard, among many more.

Alongside the ticketed shows there are a number of free events that anyone can attend, including David Sinclair’s 25 Years of Jazz photography exhibition at the Royal Albert Hall, improvised music sessions and panel discussions.

The festival has been long-standing in the City, having started in 1992 by live international music producers, Serious. The festival aims to celebrate ‘the place of jazz in a city which is at ease with its rich cultural diversity, and drawing in a multitude of venues across London who present the music, week in, week out, throughout the year.’

London Jazz Festival also likes to give back and encourage participation during the week, with a number of workshops, family friendly sessions and concerts involving schools and universities.

Tickets are already on sale for the festival and some shows have already sold out, so to avoid further disappointment we recommend that you book in advance.
