Sliips, a pay comparison platform is offering users a free lifetime subscription to mark Equal Pay Day.

The platform is offering all users who sign up before midnight on Friday 10 November a free lifetime subscription, giving new users the ammunition they need to negotiate fairer reward packages.

Equal Pay Day marks the day that women will work for free because on average they earn less than men. The day is calculated using the mean full time gender pay gap which currently stands at 14.1 per cent.

The first 500 subscribers will also be entered into a prize draw, from which ten lucky people will be randomly selected to win free one-to-one career mentoring sessions and a comprehensive CV review.

To secure a free lifetime subscription all users need to register and submit a recent payslip here. This payslip submission process ensures the data users see is absolutely dependable in a salary review. All payslips can easily be redacted by the individual prior to submission to protect sensitive information.

Sliips is a new, innovative crowdsourcing tool that is helping the gender pay gap become more transparent.

Developed by a tech startup, Sliips is helping to eradicate the barriers that make pay a taboo subject, bringing transparency to gaps in pay based on gender, ethnicity and class.

Launched in 2016, Sliips aggregates real payslip data, anonymously submitted by its users and delivers unique insights into industry and company salaries.

Co-founder Patrick McConnell said, “This offer reflects our commitment to improving pay transparency for all and we hope that people from all backgrounds and career paths will take advantage of this massive one-off giveaway and opportunity for external advice on their CV and career.
