FAQ’s
Who is the event for?
Everybody struggling with focus, distraction or wanting to improve their productivity, aka essentially all of us. It is especially suited for anyone that is neurodivergent or suspects they might be. But everybody is welcome, and understanding the concepts we’ll explore makes work better for everyone.
What is body doubling?
Body doubling is a powerful technique used to improve focus and productivity. It’s simply the act of working in the presence of somebody else. This gives you a sense of companionship, but also a boost of accountability and motivation. And if you struggle with distractions, a body double gives you an ‘anchor’ for your focus, to bring you back to what you mean to be doing.
It’s a technique that’s often recommended to people with ADHD – but it works for everybody.
What do I need to bring to the event?
Bring a task you want to get done, and expect to spend some time actually doing that task. It can be anything – getting to inbox zero, writing a difficult report, or planning out a presentation. Just make it a clearly defined task so you’re ready to get stuck into it.
How long is the session?
The session will last 50-60 minutes.
What is FLOWN?
FLOWN is an online platform that uses the power of virtual co-working to help people stay focused and beat distraction. We offer ‘body doubling’ sessions throughout the working day, as well as other tools proven to help you focus – such as weekly breathwork sessions, communal morning routines, work-with-me movies, and more.

Event Details
Monthly online networking for professional women, mums-in-business, mums-to-be and anyone who resonates with the word, or role, of mum!
The word “Mum” connects us all.
✅ We all have one,
✅ May have lost one,
✅ Have chosen to become one,
✅ Are struggling to become one
✅ Do not want to become one
✅ Are struggling now that we are one
These subjects can raise SO many questions and it is time to make a change.
We are proud to host: “This Girl is a Mum…..and SO much more”.
A collective and collaborative online networking group designed to give you a platform to ask those questions that you don’t always want to say out loud.
A chance to be in a safe space where women share their stories, thoughts and insights into every aspect of the word Mum.
This space is for you to just be you, warts and all…….without the labels, the responsibilities, the guilt or the judgements…..this is just for you and whatever you need right now!
This is an encouraging space where we support each other, develop our networks, create and build relationships, draw inspiration and empower ourselves.
We invite you to just come along as you – leave your other roles and responsibilities at the virtual door for an hour and take this time to just be you – nothing more, nothing less.
There are no networking ‘pitches’ – simply the opportunity to introduce yourself to the group and explain what support, introductions or connections you are looking for right now.
We will also have guest speakers, themes and topics of discussion that challenge the norm, and allow us to speak openly and comfortably about subjects that we are often told are ‘not appropriate’ or should be kept ‘private’.
We aim to normalise, discuss and feel supported around these topics, whilst helping each other to grow ourselves, our networks and our businesses or careers.
We invite you to be part of it…..

ADHD Life Solutions – The Rollercoaster of being a Woman with ADHD
I am thrilled to invite you to a profound and nurturing webinar tailored just for us – women navigating the intricate dance of life with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
I’ve crafted this webinar to explore the unique interplay between ADHD symptoms, hormonal changes, and the societal roles we juggle every day. My goal is to deepen our understanding and offer practical strategies that empower us to thrive amidst these complexities.
We will explore the following and more.
My ADHD Experience: Let’s dive into how ADHD manifests uniquely in us women, why it’s often overlooked, and the common challenges we face. I’ll share strength-based approaches that celebrate our neurodiversity.
The Hormonal Rollercoaster: Together, we’ll unpack the complex relationship between hormones and ADHD. I’ve invited expert speakers to explain how hormonal fluctuations during menstrual cycles, pregnancy, and menopause can impact our ADHD symptoms and what strategies can help.
Societal Roles and Expectations: We’ll discuss the societal expectations placed on us as women and how these can intensify the challenges of ADHD. From multitasking between career and home responsibilities to confronting mental health stigmas, I’ll provide insights on managing these pressures while staying authentic
This webinar is more than a learning opportunity; it’s a safe haven for us to validate our experiences, embrace self-discovery, and empower each other. Whether you’re newly diagnosed, a long-time member of the ADHD community, or seeking to support a loved one, this webinar is for you.Register now to secure your spot!
About the facilitator
A life coach with a background in positive psychology and personal experience of ADHD.
Being a woman with ADHD, a mother to a neurodiverse child and doing a PhD, I had to create organisational systems just to get by. To my shock, when I showed my systems to others they loved them and asked me to share them. This was the birth of ADHD Life Solutions.

Join Christine Brown-Quinn and Miranda Sharp and find out how to translate your personal story into a unique leadership approach & style.
Looking elsewhere for inspiration can sometimes be tricky as it takes us further away from who we are, what we have to offer, and how we’re at our best. Leaning into what you value, and the experiences you’ve had (the positive and the negative) is what makes you unique. The irony is the more you’re honest about the ‘face’ you’re sharing with the others, the more others like you and want to connect with you.
According to the 2023 Deloitte’s DEI Institute™, 60% of workers report ‘covering’ (hiding who they really are) at work within the last 12 months. This is nearly the same percentage (61%) of respondents who reported covering at work in their 2013 report. It doesn’t appear that the pandemic had lasting effect in making us more human at work.
Christine Brown-Quinn, The Female Capitalist® welcomes data science entrepreneur Miranda Sharp to the Career Masterclass Series to hear how she has shaped her powerful and distinctive leadership style by unreservedly owning the joy and pain of her personal story.
To find out how to translate your personal story into a unique leadership approach & style, join the webinar “Make the Person You Are Your Competitive Advantage” on Thursday, the 25th of April 2024 at noon London.
Look forward to “seeing” you on Thursday, the 25th of April at noon London time.
About Christine Brown-Quinn, Career Expert, Author & Thought Leader
Following 30 years+ in the corporate world, Christine embarked on a new career in 2010, coaching aspiring professionals in the practical business strategies they need to fast track their careers, whilst demystifying the unwritten rules they don’t teach you in business school! As a former Managing Director in International Finance, she is well versed in what it takes to forge a thriving career in highly pressurised, alpha environments.
Christine is an accomplished international speaker and commentator on a range of issues relevant to the success of professionals through podcasts, blogs, radio & TV (including BBC Sunday Live, BBC Big Questions, Financial Times, London Evening Standard and Women in Banking & Finance Magazine).
