Join us for a fascinating session to explore why it’s important for men to partner with women to create a more gender inclusive workplace culture.
During the session Dr Armstrong and Jason Ghaboos will suggest strategies and actions that both individuals and organisations can use, drawn from their cross-sector research. These tools will help you take effective action to promote equality of opportunity for women to reach positions of senior leadership.
This session will explore the Murray Edwards College, University of Cambridge, gender-balanced research with 7,000 men and women from 27 organisations across sectors. This research facilitates awareness of the difference between men and women’s perceptions and experience of unintentional everyday sexisms in workplace culture that impede quality of opportunity for career progression.
Key take aways:
- How to motivate men to support change to create a more gender inclusive workplace for the benefit of men and women
- How to build a useful network of gender allies
- Table discussions to debate tools that can help create sustainable change
In the spirit of men and women working together and to make the most of this interactive event, we encourage you to bring a male guest. All guests should register themselves online using via the guest booking page. Contact [email protected] for any queries.
