Making sense of society - how women always mattered in politics

Event Details

Join us on Thursday 3 October for an event on the pivotal role women have played throughout the history of British politics.

Our Director, Professor Rosie Campbell, will be joined by Cathy Newman, journalist at Channel 4 News and author of Bloody Brilliant Women: The Pioneers, Revolutionaries and Geniuses Your History Teacher Forgot to Mention, and our Chair, Julia Gillard, to discuss how women always mattered in politics – but not everyone noticed.

This event is part of Making Sense of Society, an event series by the Faculty of Social Science and Public Policy at King’s College London.
