I will be joined by, the Commissioner For Public Appointments, Eileen Mortby of BEIS,(Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy) Faye Bunch – Public Appointments for the The Cabinet Office, and Elise Perraud COO of NED On Boards  who will be revealing, what is required to successfully get on a Public Appointments Board.

In addition to Board appointments in the private sector, there is a wide range of non-executive Board roles in the public sector.  However, public bodies range from small expert groups to large delivery and even commercial organisations.

Across Whitehall, Departments are seeking talented and diverse candidates to fill those roles.  But the public sector struggle to achieve significant levels of diversity on its boards  too.  Part of the problem is achieving awareness about what those roles are and how to apply for them and be successful with your application.

The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy has one of the largest number of public bodies associated with it and Eileen Mortby, who leads on improving diversity of these BEIS appointments, along with Faye Bunch of the Cabinet Office, will join this webinar to talk about the variety of roles and start to demystify the process of applying.​​​​​​​
