Whenever we speak about ourselves, our businesses or our services, people are reading thousands of non-verbal cues. What’s your body saying?
mBolden presents a session with Mariana Marquez to learn what nobody ever taught you about non-verbal communication. You will learn practical ways to achieve a grounded presence that can transform any message into a powerful one. In this dynamic session you will learn to embody your speech and say goodbye to using filler words (ummmm), erratic eye contact, disempowering postures, or fuzzy hand gestures.

More about Mariana
Mariana is a choreographer and speaking coach with a life-long interest in embodiment. Her love for teaching fearless movement through dance, together with being a startup entrepreneur from age 23, inspired her to help businesses grow faster through confident communication.
As a speaking coach, Mariana has delivered training for major tech players like Google and trailblazing startups like Hiyacar. She’s been resident pitch coach at Wayra UK since 2016 and her private startup clients have raised over £70M from VCs in Europe – including at the BBC’s Dragon’s Den – and the US.
Twice a mentor at Cannes Lions’s R/GA Startup Academy, Mariana is a regular trainer for cohorts at Pitch@Palace, Google for Entrepreneurs, NEF, Geovation, and Cambridge Judge Business School.
As a speaker, she has presented on stages across the world, including 4YFN/ Mobile World Congress 2016-17-18 and TechweekNY.
A passionate advocate for women’s equality, Mariana supports multiple charities and is part of Tech London Advocates (Women).
Mariana holds a Masters in Choreography from TrinityLaban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, and a Bachelor of Arts from Hunter College – City University of New York. She’s a local in Buenos Aires, New York, and London where she lives with her two children.
