Event Details
Please join us on Wednesday 21 November for a special leadership lecture with Dame Minouche Shafik DBE, Director, London School of Economics in conversation with Sir Stephen House QPM, Assistant Commissioner, Metropolitan Police Service.
Dame Minouche will bring to life those lightbulb moments that have made her the remarkable leader she is today. And with a career that’s included becoming the youngest ever Vice President of the World Bank aged 36, serving as the Permanent Secretary of the Department for International Development, and the Bank of England’s first Deputy Governor of Markets, there will be much to take away.
We’re also fortunate Sir Stephen is joining us as he prepares for fresh challenges when he steps up from Assistant Commissioner to Deputy Commissioner, Metropolitan Police Service. With two leaders who have navigated political and economic uncertainty, it promises to be an enlightening conversation amidst the turbulence of today’s environment.
Part of London First’s series of Leadership Lectures, the evening will inspire a spirit of collaboration between businesses and policing and cultivate new ways of tackling leadership challenges.
Following the lecture, there will be an opportunity to catch up informally at a networking drinks reception.
Places are limited, please confirm your spot by Friday 9 November 2018 or contact [email protected] for more information
