Event Details

Currently the country’s BAME employee population are experiencing an annual pay penalty of £3.2 billion.

Some of that £3.2 billion pay penalty stretches to BAME employees working in the insurance industry.

Dame McGregor-Smith’s Review highlighted how inequality in the pay is affecting the Country’s BAME workforce and ultimately impacting the wider economy. Her Review was followed by the Government’s recent Consultation on the need for ethnicity pay gap reporting by Companies (including those in the market).  This means that Companies need to start not only preparing now for how they will meet future reporting requirements but also how they can use the data obtained to drive change and cultivate a culture of transparency within their own organisations.

Join us to hear Baroness McGregor-Smith’s discuss what progress has been made on the recommendations outlined in her report as well as senior decision makers from across the insurance market on what their organisations are doing to redress the imbalance.

Come and join the conversation in what we hope will be an interactive and insightful event.
