Enduring self-love: women's circle | Poppy Gerrard Abbott
Carrying on our road of self-love and self-evolution
Carrying on our road of self-love and self-evolution after experiences of abuse, trauma and violence, join me for mid-week healing
This women’s circle is for any woman interested in joining a welcoming, safe feminist space to talk about dealing with sexism in our professional, personal and digital lives but especially welcomes victim/survivors for peer support.
Join this longer women’s circle of sharing, journaling and meditation. For this session, we will be focusing on where we can find joy in our lives as women and as feminists, and commitments to a future of healing and freedom. As lockdown lifts and we dramatically readjust to new environments and challenges – which significantly affect the lives of women – we will fold inwards for just a little while of re-connecting and re-centring as the world externally shifts.
Participants are welcome to come on with their camera and microphone on or off. You do not have to be loud, confident or sure about your experiences to join a women’s circle.
Trans women, intersex people, sex worker women, women of colour and women with disabilities and women who have not studied feminism are welcome – Circle is not just for certain women. Any questions, learning needs, safety concerns/contacts or disability adjustments please email me on [email protected] – you will also receive an email from me after signing up requesting these details.
Identity verification will take place prior to attendance and the meeting will be password-protected and locked. Support contacts and signposting will be provided after the meeting.
