Event Details

Join us for “Lessons from four years of the Women in Finance Charter”, Chaired by Julia Gillard, Chair of the Global Institute for Women’s Leadership and Former Prime Minister of Australia.

In 2016, HM Treasury launched the “Women in Finance Charter”, with the aim of delivering the UK government’s aspiration to see gender balance at all levels across financial services firms. The charter’s membership criteria includes the requirement for an executive responsible for gender diversity and inclusion, the setting of internal targets for gender diversity in senior management, publishing progress, and an intention to amend any gender pay gaps found.

Four years on, what has been its impact, and where do we go from here?

Join the Global Institute for Women’s Leadership at King’s College London and Women in Banking and Finance for a panel event to discuss these issues and more.
