Obs and gynae expert, Prof Dame Lesley Regan and journalist and broadcaster Tulip Mazumdar, talk about miscarriage and pregnancy loss.

It is estimated that 1 in 5 pregnancies end in miscarriage. Yet this devastating issue is often little understood or discussed openly. Losing a pregnancy is different for everyone and affects whole families and communities as well as parents.

Director of Women’s Health Research Centre and Principle Investigator of the Recurrent Miscarriage Tissue, Prof Regan will talk about the experience of pregnancy loss, moving from the biology and physical experience to the emotional impact.

Joined by broadcaster and journalist, Tulip Mazumdar who will share her experience of maternal health issues that women face and her own experience of pregnancy loss.

We want to open up the conversation and shine a light on the issue so welcome questions to be sent in beforehand to [email protected]. There will also be live Q&A.
