The Baton Awards Panel Discussion on Visibility, Voice and Validation

There’s been significant accomplishments achieved throughout history to present day, and much honour and recognition given toward those achievements, from breakthrough inventions, courageous self-determination overcoming tragedy to community mindedness and more.

But how important is visibility and recognition of contribution? Is there equal and fair acknowledgement of contribution from women make?

In 2020 the gap in representation of women across all sectors still exist and when we delve deeper the gap is wider when it comes to women from racial diverse groups.

We will be discussing the important question on visibility, being heard and validation on July 23rd 2020, 6:30pm, we have an excellent panel of speakers who will share their views on this very topical subject.
