Event Details
The Covid-19 crisis has upended traditional ways of working and created extra pressures, with much of the UK public working from home at the same time as caring for children, friends or relatives.
The boundaries between work and home life have become blurred, and it’s women who are bearing the brunt of this shift.
In this event, we’ll discuss new research, carried out with employee research agency Karian and Box, which reveals the lengths people have gone to to balance work and caring responsibilities during the pandemic, the potential career penalty they may face as a result – and what organisations can do about it.
Panel:
– Julia Gillard, former Prime Minister of Australia and Chair of the Global Institute for Women’s Leadership
– James Tarbit, MD Client Advisory, Karian & Box
– Sonia Sodha, chief leader writer at the Observer and Guardian/Observer columnist
– Other panellists TBC
