How to avoid narrow definitions of success based on externally imposed criteria. Instead, how to define it yourself following the 3 Cs of the Long Win:

– Clarifying what matters, developing broader success criteria about ‘how’ you lead, ‘how’ you turn up as a team member, and ‘how’ you connect to a broader purpose
– Developing a Constant learning mindset – so that you invest in continuous personal growth, regardless of outcomes along the way
– Prioritisation of human Connections in everything that you, developing networks and deeper relationships that will last for the long-term

All drawing on my experiences and expertise from being an Olympian, diplomat in conflict zones, and now leadership speaker and consultant, and drawing out the themes from ‘The Long Win‘, published oct 2020 and in FT’s Top 10 Business Books 2020.
