Facing your Fears with Gosia Gorna

I first came across the wonderful Gosia Gorna and her remarkable ability to support people to face their fears, at a one day workshop in Birmingham. My life hasn’t been the same since – in the best possible way of course!

Gosia is a transformational coach who supports clients to confront and face their fears, then move forward with their lives so they are able to achieve their potential. As part of the process, Gosia gets clients to SPEAK their fears, and this was something I was particularly interested in discussing the concept of speaking your fears and goals with Gosia – given that I am a speaking trainer! Listen here.

In the interview, Gosia gives a step by step guide to what she calls the “expansion game”. In this the client faces their fear and what is the WORST thing that could happen. Then flipping this idea round to find the BEST thing that could happen in your life. One of the features is that you SPEAK this through. So often setting goals and visualising doesn’t include speaking, and Gosia explains how talking through these goals and fears adds another dimension and increases success. Listen here. Gosia does everything with such love and care; and she also gives tips on public speaking and they really focus on the audience and what they are going to get out of hearing her speak. It is really refreshing, since so often I have conversations with speakers and it is all about what business they can get out of an appearance. So refreshing!

Gosia is running a one day workshop on 22nd January in London, called “Your year to expand”. She will be getting clients to use the techniques in the podcast as well as setting their goals. I will be attending with my team! More details here.

She has also generously offered a free morning meditation; this sets you up for the day really well. Download here. I am sure many people will find this an invaluable resource.
