Last year, we featured Maggie Semple as our Inspirational Woman and she introduced us to her world at Maggie Semple Limited. She has since announced her latest fashion offering, the Semple Dress Collection, displaying stylish, well made dresses – perfect for the working wardrobe.
The Semple Dress Collection is a collaboration between Semple and the designer, Hilla Brunhilde Schönburn. Like many of us, Maggie struggled to find well-made dresses that were priced reasonably. She said, “I am someone who likes to wear well made, bespoke clothing and so after sourcing my perfect dress I was unsurprised to discover that many other women shared my vision of finding the dream dress. Yet finding well cut dresses, made from exquisite fabrics, that are sized and priced appropriately can often be hard to come by.”
The dresses feature two different designs, the Ophelia and the Bianca. Ranging from black, navy and a speckled pattern, the dresses are all handmade using the finest Italian fabrics.
Each of the dresses comes with a sleeveless counterpart and are available in sizes 8-16. The ready-to-wear range is currently priced at £250 each. However, if you want something more personal, then Maggie offers a bespoke service for your own unique and individual dress.
The personal touch is apparent throughout the whole process, with every customer receiving a unique code enabling you to access your dress detail on the personalised Semple app. International customers can use the simple online measuring service, which MSL say is both ‘fun and flattering’.
Importantly, the collection offers versatility meaning you get even more for your money. These dresses can be worn in a professional environment with heels; or dressed down for a more casual feel with pumps or sandals and a jacket or cover-up – taking you straight from the office to a night out.
The Semple Dress collection is available to buy here.
