The Opportunity
Generation is looking for a returner who is an experienced investment professional. The role is based on a six month fixed term contract starting in the fourth quarter of 2019. The role is on our investment team in London, where the returner will join a team responsible for the coverage of global investment opportunities. As a member of the investment team, the returner will be responsible for providing research coverage for Generation’s flagship Global Equity strategy. The successful candidate will undertake all duties of a full-time analyst on the investment team including research, equity valuation, investment case construction and contribution to team debate.
Generation has created this fixed term opportunity specifically for an experienced investment professional who has taken two or more years out of their career to be a full or part time caregiver and who is looking for an opportunity to re-enter the industry. We welcome applicants from all genders.
Specific requirements include:
- Passion for, and a demonstrated track record in, fundamental company analysis
- Strong interest in capital markets
- Demonstrated quantitative ability
- Excellent communication skills
- An interest in sustainability, particularly its materiality for investors and the capital markets
