What inspired you to start a business?
I have always wanted to be my own boss and have that independence managing myself. I currently run several different businesses, however with my interior showroom Anna Casa I was inspired by the idea of bringing new style and trends to the British market from Italy.
What is the greatest challenge and the greatest reward in being your own boss?
The greatest challenge as a boss is that I have to make decisions on my own and I am the person who is responsible for everything.
The greatest reward is that I can manage my own time and day schedule, I set my rules and can be very flexible! This is really a big luxury!
What motivational tips can you give to our members about goal setting and managing both successes and failures
The most important is to have a goal and knowing what you want! I always write it down on paper in my diary or day plan, so I can see it everyday. For me there is no failures, its either a very good lesson and then we never know what a real failure is and where it will take us. Sometimes a failure takes us to the biggest success ever!
What is the biggest challenge you have faced as a business owner?
The biggest challenge as a business owner I have faced, is to have an idea and money make it real! Makin a real business out of an idea is not always very easy and possible, not everyone supports you at the beginning and I had to start making the first steps on my own. There are always challenges at every time, maintaining the business and to keep it running successfully is a big challenge that you have to maintain all the time!
How have you benefited from mentoring or coaching?
The best way to learn something is to mentor someone! Somehow it opens new channels and inspiration when I teach or share with other people. This is also the best andbeautiful love feeling ever when I am able to give something good and helpful to another person!
What advice can you give about the benefits of networking?
Networking is the most important tool in today’s community! Of course its about promoting your business and your idea, who else can do it better then you? Getting out yourself and connect to new people, will lead you to new business opportunities and you will share information with other people that is very useful for both. Finding support trough networking is great, as this is free advertising and people that you meet will tell their friends about you, word of mouth is the best advertising!
What are your tips for scaling a business and how do you plan for and manage growth?
Public profile, think big, plan a strategy, step by step
To be able scaling your business you need to think big first! Visibility and image is the next steps, people need to know who you are and what is your business about! People are not buying what you sell, they buy what you believe in! Focus on the key activities that move your business forward! Networking and relationship will help to move forward too and the other important tip is to have a financial support on your side if you want to double your capital!

The future depends on what we create in this moment.
I am in the moment of now, I don’t know what the future holds, but I know what is now.
