We are delighted to invite you to Warwick Business School’s London base at The Shard to celebrate International Women’s Day 2016.
With the focus of the day firmly on the female, our inspirational guest speakers will share their thoughts on leadership and the lessons they have learned on their journeys:
11:00 – Doors open
12:00 – Presentations, followed by Q&A
Nadine Smith will talk about the diverse nature of roles open to women in UK politics, broadening to more diverse roles for women internationally, drawing on her own experiences and observations.
Claire Horton will cover the pioneering women who influenced key national movements (Marie Curie, Mary Tealby, etc.), discussing how their determination shaped Not For Profit (NFP), public and private sector models, highlighting the common traits in successful women of the past and present.
The post-talk debate will centre around ambition, bias and culture.
13:30 – Networking over a light lunch
14:30 – Event close
