Internships at Wellbeing of Women – Spring 2014

WoWheader1
Wellbeing of Women is the charity dedicated to improving the health of women and babies, to make a difference to everybody’s lives today and tomorrow.

We are looking to recruit 2 interns for an initial period of 3months.

The Digital Marketing intern will help develop and implement Wellbeing’s social and digital strategy. We are looking for creative flair and evidence of good digital skills and an understanding of how to use IT to manage data.

The Fundraising intern will work with our fundraising teams and help to deliver the 2014 income target. We are looking for good verbal and non-verbal communication skills and an ability to work systematically and with initiative. Good research and organisation skills will also be required whilst you gain experience in the areas of Corporate, Trust and Major Donor fundraising.

An appreciation of the importance of peer reviewed medical research and the ability to work with a small and dedicated team are essential for both positions. In return you will gain valuable insights into the workings of a small successful charity. Interns will be paid the minimum wage.

Successful candidates are usually, but not exclusively, graduates and the positions are full time (35 hours per week), however reasonable proposals for part time working will be considered.

If you are interested in applying send your cv together with a letter explaining why you think you are suited to the particular internship to [email protected].
