  • Ability to co-ordinate between different teams

1               Qualifications

What other qualifications or skills do I need?

  • Strong oral and written communication, facilitation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to absorb technical language and translate key points back to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to take lots of information from technical teams and work out what the actual risk in order to clearly articulate this in a risk paper and to our client’s Networks risk board
  • Ability to manage multiple escalations and convey complex information, readily finding solutions to challenges as they emerge
  • Ability to identify, clarify, and resolve issues and risks, escalating as needed
  • Ability to build productive working relationships with others
  • Ability to present to senior management within the client and Accenture
  • A good understanding of telephony (classical & IP) and network infrastructure (LAN & WAN) would be advantageous.
  • Ability to set expectations and prioritise items in a workstack.
  • IT service management or Network Management experience with a focus on risk, compliance or information security activities and a comprehensive understanding of the key elements and processes relating to service management.
  • Experience of leading Service Improvement activities
  • ITIL qualification at Foundation
  • Any risk management credentials or certification would be advantageous
  • Previous experience of working a regulated environment would be desirable especially within the Finance Services sector

This role is to work within our client offices in our Risk and Compliance function.  This function involves providing an interface for the client for two main functions – operational risk management and compliance management.  The role covers being a direct interface for the client including regular review meetings and managing and leading the offshore team of risk and compliance specialist. The goals of the role are to maintain compliance and manage operational risk for areas of non-compliance.
