Circa £85,000 + Bonus circa 30% + £7,000 Car Allowance + 10% Pension
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Solutions Architect. Our client is a leading provider of risk, fraud and compliance solutions to a wide range of corporations across the globe.
Before applying, please note that all candidates must be eligible to undergo a full SC clearance. This requires candidates to have been living and working in the UK for at least 5 years.
Responsibilities
Work with key solution stakeholders to elaborate Non Functional Requirements for the implementation, keeping in mind any constraints that the product places on the solution.
Lead the development of architectures for complex deployments,
Oversee implementation of the design
Ensure that the design meets key functional and non-functional requirements and will allow operational and through life scenarios required for the solution to be satisfied.
Work with quality and test management functions
Retain overall ownership of solution through delivery and transition into operation and/or subsequent refinement, or modification.
Work with Account Management and Sales functions to ensure that key sales messages for the solution are accurately and authoritatively communicated within bids and pitches and to develop or qualify new opportunities
What were looking for
Ability to work with very senior client stakeholders (up to CXO level) to understand, influence and shape requirements and solution approaches.
A broad understanding of mainstream and emerging solution technologies and providers with a flair for evangelism of innovative approaches to business problems and the intellectual capability to rapidly develop expertise and authority in new areas.
Background expertise/experience with ETL concepts, data warehousing, J2EE, WebSphere Application Server, WebLogic, JBoss and Oracle 10/11G RDBMS
Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, Windows and Linux Operating systems & SAN / NAS storage.
Experience of Agile and Waterfall development methodologies;
