What does the role involve?

You will help develop, lead and deliver key strategic initiatives, primarily supporting the Worldpay eCommerce team whilst also driving broader business objectives. Reporting to the Strategy Director, you will plan, coordinate and manage a diverse range of eCommerce projects. These projects will frequently involve an analytical component and will also require engagement with critical stakeholders from across the business, e.g.: Global eCommerce Executive team, Vertical Strategists (Airlines, Travel, Gambling, Digital Content & Global Retail), Business Development, Relationship Management, Marketing & Demand Generation, Product Management and Delivery. This is a UK based role but will incorporate regular contact with all priority markets and regions including US, EMEA, LATAM and APAC.

You will be driving firm-wide implementation of key strategic projects (such as entering new markets); progressing product and marketing initiatives (such as launching new products) and supporting delivery of Sales, Operations and Technology programs (such as refreshing the go-to-market proposition).

What will make you the ideal candidate?

You have a Bachelors degree (2:1 or above) from a selective university and several years work experience at a top-tier strategy consultancy firm and / or in a strategic planning function. You ideally had a broad role, operating across complex business environments.

You have a good analytical pedigree, strong project management skills and an ability to develop, lead and execute complex initiatives. You are a confident communicator and networker, with good influencing skills.

You have been central to wide-ranging strategic decision-making processes and are comfortable making choices and assessing trade-offs. You are a natural collaborator with an ability to build and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally.
