Join the PwC Gender Balance Network on Thursday 27th of July 2017 for an interactive panel debate on the topic: the role of media as a leadership platform for gender equality.
The PwC Gender Balance Network will shine a light on how the media can act as both an enabler and a barrier to men and women fulfilling their leadership potential. The aim of this event is to provide a platform for PwC staff and clients to debate how and what role media plays in influencing how gender is perceived and what they can personally do to increase their own voice and unlock their expertise as leaders through their media profile.
Come along to hear from our exciting panel and have your say! We will be joined by a number of special guests including: PwC Head of People Laura Hinton, former BBC business journalist and award winning inspirational speaker Penny Haslam, and PwC Head of Communications Amy Tiernan.
By the end of the event, you will:
- Recognise the power of the media and how it can influence gender bias and stereotypes inside and outside of the workplace;
- Understand why it’s important to unlock expertise through increasing your visibility and the role of the media as a barrier and enabler of your brand; and
- Have learnt what you can do to be concise, compelling and confident in your communications that will increase your credibility and build your personal brand profile.
