Lorraine Kelly #1 Make Time For Tea

“Getting involved with Make Time for Tea is great fun and the perfect opportunity to get together with friends, family or colleagues.”

“So whether your tea party (or bake sale – they count too!) is big or small, your support can help to make a difference to the women of the future.”

– Lorraine Kelly, Ambassador for Make Time for Tea

Every year in the UK, nearly 21,000 women are affected by one of the five gynaecological cancers: womb, ovarian, cervical, vulval and vaginal. Ovarian cancer is the sixth most common cause of cancer among women in the UK with around 7,200 women diagnosed every year.

That’s 20 mothers, daughters, sisters, wives or partners every day. The Eve Appeal are determined to change these shocking statistics but they need your help.

With your support, they can help to protect women and their families from the devastating effects of these cancers and help to prevent them in the first place.

Make Time for Tea today and help The Eve Appeal to make a difference to women’s lives – order your free fundraising pack here.

About The Eve Appeal

We are the only UK national charity raising awareness and funding research into the five gynaecological cancers.

We raise funds for ground-breaking research focused on developing effective methods of risk prediction, early detection and screening for these women-only cancers. Whilst also raising much-needed awareness so that more women and men understand the signs and symptoms and feel comfortable having straight and honest conversations about gynae health.
