Capco are looking for a PMO analyst within the Investment Banking and Securities Processing space, with change management experience and ideally prior success as a management consultant or within a change role in a financial services institution.
This role offers the chance to deliver best practice project management tools and templates, and supporting priority and enterprise wide programmes. The nature of these roles offers long term deployments and the chance to experience varied regulatory change initiatives.
The role is to work as a PMO analyst. PMO analysts are responsible for supporting the delivery of a PMO function in line with minimum standards and methodologies, in order to improve processes to optimise operational efficiency. The role has a global focus and will entail collaborating with Business, Operations, Finance, Compliance, IT and other functions located primarily in Edinburgh. Strong communication and organisation skills with the ability to quickly gain credibility and build effective relationships with senior stakeholders are fundamental to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving and project planning and management
  • Delivering best practice project management tools and templates
  • Responsible for developing reporting frameworks, producing standard project reporting templates
  • Working with stakeholders across all business functions, including technology partners
  • Providing reporting and analysis statistics of delivery during the lifecycle

  • Proven ability to multi-task and effectively manage time to deliver excellent results
  • Excellent Communication Skills – the ability to communicate to a variety of audiences across business function and level, and tailor messages appropriately
  • Stakeholder Management – can discuss requests and requirements with stakeholders and keep them informed of progress
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation – the ability to critically evaluate information gathered across multiple sources, reconcile variances and recommend proposals to senior management and key stakeholders
  • Change Management Implementation – has experience working in an investment banking change environment
  • Microsoft Tools – competent in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio

Additional Requirements

  • Knowledge of Financial Services and Capital Markets
  • Front to back experience of investment banking change management
  • 100% travel to client site may be required
