WeAreTheCity has partnered with the UK’s only child-friendly work and business show. The Mums Enterprise Roadshow is gathering pace as it tours the UK showcasing flexible work and business support and opportunities for mums with its next stops being London and Birmingham later this year.

Thousands if not millions of mums across the UK have started to realise that it really is possible to use their talents outside the 9am-5pm. Women are starting to make changes in their life to find flexible work, start up a business or are well on their way to running a successful business already.

But with this comes unique challenges of confidence, resource and expertise as well as understanding just how much support and opportunity really does exist.

The Mums Enterprise Roadshow will have reached over 4000 mums face-to-face in 2017 over 8000 in 2018 and by 2021 over 30,000 mums will be welcomed through the doors of the roadshow as it reaches over 10 regions across all corners of the UK.

Organised by mums for mums the events are being recognised as one to watch as a whole host of new partnerships are announced for its 2017 events.

Three exhibitions have already been held between 2016 to February 2017 with over 80 per cent of attendees stating the event boosted their confidence and kicked them into action. 13 per cent say the events have changed their life for the better as many mums have since launched their business idea, signed contracts with opportunities offered by exhibitors or are growing their business and becoming exhibitors themselves at the show.

When and where

The events landing in London on 25 September 2017, Birmingham on 17 October 2017 and again in Brighton on 22 February 2018 with further regions being added are totally free for mums to attend, have an on-site creche and are host to an exhibition with the UK’s most innovative and relevant individuals and organisations offering support, services and opportunities.

A selection of workshops to choose from covering topics from Identifying your strengths to finding customers on the web.

Also on offer will be networking, no obligation, free 1-2-1 business advice and an inspirational story stage.

Being founded and organised by two mums on a mission themselves makes this show truly deliver for the very real challenges facing mums in work and business today.
