One in eight of the working age population are from a Black & Minority Ethnic background, yet only one in ten are in the workplace and only one in sixteen top management positions are held by an ethnic minority person.Now more than ever, given the events that are unfolding around the world concerning the black community, we feel it is necessary to celebrate what black professionals are capable of with right support and opportunities.
At Excellerate Black Futures, our business objective is to help early career Black talent to excel as professionals and accelerate their careers. In addition, we aim to help organisations better support existing and new talent to find and maintain thriving careers in their organisations.
Through our free 6 week talent programme, replicating some of the great talent programmes organisations provide to their best talent, we hope to upskill our members to grow in readiness for future opportunities for progression.
We also schedule monthly scale up events, through which we invite influential role models and allies to share their knowledge and expertise with the aim of inspiring and educating our audience.
