The role serves to interpret and achieve results to satisfy the requirements of relevant regulators, and to hold management accountable for the delivery of products and service from third party vendors. The outcome will be a consistent and robust process to sustain compliance with all local regulatory and legal requirements within each jurisdiction, providing transparency and comfort to the relevant lines of business and Executive board and ensuring continued high levels of service delivery.
The Head of Vendor Outsourcing will be responsible for helping to define and implementing a consistent strategy and direction on vendor governance, control and risk related matters across the relevant region.
The incumbent will:
- Interpret regulatory guidelines into workable and measurable solutions for the V-TPG framework
- Regularly engage with Regulators, Exec level stakeholders to understand requirements and drive compliance
- Scope the work required to continue the implementation of the V-TPG global outsourcing framework to a standard that is acceptable to regulators.
- Manage a process to ensure that all vendor relationships are covered with appropriate measurement and management tools and other related documentation.Drive consistency of approach to BAU outsourcing management across all locations and legal entities within the relevant region.
- Support development of robust metrics management in respect of all outsourcing across the region, accompanied by relevant Management information.
- Drive design and implementation of an information repository to hold all completed outsourcing documentation, working with colleagues in TPG (Inter Affiliate Management) to ensure consistency. Own and maintain the end to end process and support systems (design, build and maintenance) to ensure e mechanized and optimal approach is in place.
Responsibilities: (Key parts to the job role)
- Contribute to the initial and ongoing development of the V-TPG framework with a focus on in region regulatory requirements. Create methods of delivery for Vendor focused solutions to V-TPG requirement s and implement and manage these as directed.
- Ensure regulatory requirements and quality standards across regional Vendor population in respect of V-TPG framework are met. Maintain overview of all interaction with relevant regulators on all outsourcing matters relevant to the vendor population in coordination with regional management, Legal Department and Compliance. Ensure appropriate and up to date contractual documentation exists and is accessible.
- Participate in, and support the development and implementation of key V-TPG system solutions and process management documentation.
- Facilitate regular meetings to assess the quality of the V-TPG framework delivery in region and discuss any other relevant topics in relation to the outsourced services with V-TPG group, regulators, sponsors, stakeholders and vendors.
- Ensure appropriate changes to regulatory requirements are identified and responses, new ways of working are developed to maintain a positive control on regulatory governance in region.
- Build strong strategic relationships with all key stakeholders such as Business and Legal Entity Managers and all key stakeholders of regional vendors. Also key to build and maintain strong relationships within the global TPG group, presenting a single “client face” to our customers.
