Nominations are now open for 2017’S Excellence in Diversity Awards, identifying the best employers for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
The Inclusive Top 50 Employers list will be merging with the Excellence in Diversity Awards for the first time ever to highlight which organisations are practicing inclusion and becoming leaders in their field. The awards are not just about corporate social responsibility, but rather utilising the diverse talents of Great Britain and it’s employees.
The need for diverse practice is just as essential in 2016, as CEO of The Inclusive Top 50, Paul Sesay explains:
“There is a crucial need to promote these practices and the organisations carrying out pioneering work in this field”.
The High ranking organisations featuring in The Inclusive Top 50, will be split into public and private sectors, charity, housing and education. They will have to provide evidence of their inclusivity practices in areas such as training and recruitment.
Mental health and wellbeing charity Touchstone were previously ranked No. 1 in The Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers List 2016 in recognition of their continued dedication to workplace diversity. This year’s EiDA‘s also rewarded the likes of Allianz Insurance, L&Q, Dell, Transport for London and Manchester Metropolitan University for their exceptional achievements in the diversity arena.
Stuart McKenna, Equality and Diversity Manager at Manchester Metropolitan University said:
“Since the top 50 list was published, we have received a lot of attention and enquiries in relation to the good work we are doing, from others in the sector, the national press and our local partners”. Stuart McKenna, Equality & Diversity Manager at Manchester Metropolitan University.”
