Nominations for the 2017 Northern Power Women Awards close on 23 December.
After the success of the inaugural awards in March this year, nominations are now open for the second Northern Power Women Awards. There are nine categories open to both women and men from, or involved in organisations across the Northern Powerhouse regions.
Categories include:
- One to Watch
- Outstanding Entrepreneur
- Person with Purpose (inclusive to all)
- Mentor of the Year (inclusive to all)
- Agent of Change (inclusive to all)
- Transformational Leader (inclusive to all)
- Small Business
- Medium Business
- Large Business
Nominate yourself, a colleague, associate, supplier or client to recognise an individual or organisation here.
Once all nominations have been received the judging phase will begin. This will result in a final shortlist, who will be invited to an awards ceremony on 7th March 2017, where the winners of each category will be announced.
Alongside the awards, Northern Power Women are expanding and rebranding the Top 50 Power & Future Lists to the Power & Future List to celebrate the breadth and wealth of Northern Power Women. The deadline for this list is 15th January 2017 – nominate for the Power and Future Lists here.
Northern Power Women is a collaborative campaign to accelerate gender diversity from the North of England. They engage women and men in business as ‘agents of change’ for the campaign, and create opportunities for business and individuals to engage, learn and promote their achievements as campaign champions and advocates. Through recognising, celebrating and showcasing, these role models can transform the culture of business.
Last years’ awards saw over 600 nominations from across the Northern Powerhouse regions resulting in nine winners and the Top 50 Power & Future Lists.
