Not for Profit Vacancy: Services Helpline Advisor – Part-time | Missing People

Missing People is seeking committed and passionate Services Helpline Advisors to join the Bank staff on their central team providing the charity’s 24/7 frontline service.  This interesting and crucial role involves working alongside our team of volunteers. You will be trained and supported with development opportunities and welcomed into this friendly and dedicated team.

Location

South West London / We are based in leafy Mortlake – only 13 mins from Clapham Junction and 23 mins from Waterloo.

Contract

Bank and/or Part-time

Hours

Shifts in a rolling 9-day rota that will include days, weekends, evenings and nights helping us to cover our vital 24 hour service. Part-time pattern available as well as Bank contract (zero hour’s contract).

Salary

Hourly rate £11.67 (£20,815 pro rata)

Services

Our Services team delivers direct help and support to missing children, vulnerable adults and families left in limbo. Staff and volunteers do this by assisting the search and by providing the channels for people to make contact; from public sightings generated via media appeals, to our Helpline for those who have run away, left home and the families of missing people.

At the heart of all our activities is a commitment to better the lives of those affected by the Missing issue.
