Ormiston Families exists to help and support young people and their families so that they are able to achieve their potential irrespective of background or circumstances. Our vision is that “every child is loved, nurtured and valued”.
Ormiston was established by the Murray family in memory of Fiona Ormiston Murray who tragically died on her honeymoon before she had a chance to have children of her own. We have been supporting thousands of children, young people and their families across East Anglia ever since.
Ormiston Families runs six programmes, four of which provide hands-on support and two that look to future.
The Nurture Programme supports early years; The Engage Programme improves outcomes for young people in education; The Unite Programme works with prisoners and their families; and The Connect Programme promotes the well-being of local communities.
The Tomorrow Programme develops new & innovative projects, while The Enterprise Programme provides sustainable sources of income for Ormiston Families.
