Our client is a central London based, specialist fund consultancy. Recent business changes and growth has facilitated the need to recruit a Business Development / Sales Director. The role has been created to help develop new business from current clients and to raise awareness with potential new clients of the company’s service offering.

Key Responsibilities


• Market the organisation into the London Private Equity and Real Estate market.
• Work with external agencies to coordinate the design and development of strategic sales and marketing plans which fulfil specific customer needs.
• Identify prospects and referral sources for solicitation through the organisation’s internal network and through external sources
• Schedule and perform prospect meetings in person and remotely with current and prospective customers preparing and presenting professional and profitable services proposals for clients
• Manage the on-going account relationships with prospective customers, making sure their needs are met and products and services are marketed effectively
• Manage a marketing support team of three staff
• Maintain an active pipeline of prospects through contact and follow-ups with prospective clients to make sure all needs are being met throughout the sales cycle and accurate reporting of all pipeline activity

Required Skills and Experience:


• experience of business development and selling professional services within the financial services sector
• ideally a knowledge of the Private Equity sector
• an ability to develop and maintain business relationships at a senior level.
• team-oriented: interacting collaboratively with team members and others across the organisation.
• initiative, including eagerness to work on projects offering suggestions and solutions
• able to produce high-quality work that is accurate and thorough, with attention to detail.
• possesses excellent oral and written communication skills

Location – Central London
Number of days – the role could be done on either a full or part-time basis.
