Our bodies and minds have funny ways of telling us it’s time to slow down. As much as we want to believe we are superwomen and can take on the world, we’re not robots! The worst thing we can do is wait until we HAVE to take a break, and I say this because I’ve been there myself. I experienced burnout, and I had nowhere to turn. I created The Deep Pause, and I like to think of it as a preventative formula; a way to press reset before things really hit the fan.
Believe it or not, you’re actually helping yourself to be MORE productive by taking a break.
Stopping to pause isn’t failure. It’s a sign of wisdom.

Who is The Pause for?
The Deep Pause is the modern woman’s sanctuary. A three or five day retreat in an idyllic setting to be inspired, humoured, given time to reflect, and space to be left alone if you need it.
It’s right for those of us who don’t have a minute to stop, are overworked and overwhelmed.
What happens at The Deep Pause?
The Deep Pause is an intimate retreat with a maximum of twelve people containing a blend of facilitated group sessions and time to just be alone. There’s also space for one-to-one coaching if you would like it.
There are no pressures or demands. No phones or laptops. Just nourishing food, time in nature and plenty of space to breathe again.
Surrounded by likeminded women, the Pause is the latest piece of kit in your arsenal to take on the world, and if you’re still thinking with your career head then it’s a great place to network too!

Danielle Marchant had a long work history as a highly successful executive
coach in the corporate industry until life gave her a wake up call – burnout.
After learning that goals and ambitions could be just as happily achieved when simply allowing the body and mind to pause, she adapted her coaching style with both personal and corporate clients to flow rather than fight against the ups and downs of life. Danielle has coached hundreds of people to adapt to this methodology in her renowned Pause Retreats and is a regular contributor for online publications such as 30ish me, We Are The City and Smarta.

Your room will be available from 2pm on Friday to allow you to arrive and rest. The retreat will begin at 6pm and dinner will be served at 7.30pm.
The retreat finishes at 3pm on Sunday, however you are welcome to stay on Sunday night to extend your Pause at no extra charge. This is highly recommended!
As you will spend time in nature a suggested packing list will be provided.
All meals and snacks are provided and will be healthy, home-cooked and vegetarian. A form will be sent to capture any specific dietary requirements.
The retreat costs £379 per person including, all meals, twin sharing room and facilitated sessions.
