Gina Battye, Pride Month

Pitman Training are offering free training focused on being your true self at work, in celebration of PRIDE month.

As part of Pitman Training’s yearlong commitment to Push For Progress, following the launch of their free training and coaching platform for women, this month sees the addition of some great content linked to PRIDE month, when the world’s LGBT+ communities come together and celebrate the freedom to be themselves.

Pitman Training has partnered with Gina Battye, a world-renowed LGBT+ Identity Coach and Inclusion Consultant, to encourage employees to remove the masks they may be wearing and encourage more people to be their authentic selves at work.

Battye specialises in LGBT+ Inclusion, Transgender and Non-Binary in the workplace and is called upon, worldwide to deliver her insights and coaching, by leading global organisations working with senior leaders, the HR and Diversity and Inclusion teams, as well as with individuals.

Battye has worked with GE, Bank of America, BBC, ITV, Barclays, Lloyds Banking Group, Experian, Vodafone, HBOS and many more.

Following statistics that show one in four LGB workers are not at all open to colleagues about their sexual orientation; Battye’s webinar explores what authenticity is, why it is important to be your authentic self at work and what it can cost you if you are daily living behind a mask – something relevant to all, not just the LGBT community.

Speaking about the course, Battye said, “I am delighted to have been asked to partner with Pitman Training as part of PRIDE month.”

“I am passionate about helping people to reconnect with their true and authentic self – unleashing untapped potential.”

“This webinar isn’t exclusively for the LGBT community, I know that it will help anyone who watches it to consider what labels, titles and layers they allow to mask over who they truly are.”

“The authentic you, is underneath all of the layers – the peaceful, joyful, creative, loving, passionate soul underneath.”

Claire Lister, Pitman Training Group Managing Director, said, “I’m so excited that we are adding more fabulous content to our Pitman ‘Push for Progress’ caeer coaching campaign.”

“We are delighted to be partnering with Gina Battye to celebrate Pride and reflect our own company values of equality and diversity.”

“We are passionate about championing employee rights to work in an inclusive and supportive environment.”
