A private members club aimed at working women, created by working women, is launching in London.
AllBright is an education, networking and funding collective that aims to provide the support needed for female leaders to succeed. Currently, the initiative comprises of the AllBright Fund and the AllBright Academy, but will be expand to include The AllBright members’ club in 2018.
AllBright also created the inaugural ‘FoundHER’ Festival of Female Founders, bringing together a line-up of over 80 speakers and 1,000 attendees over the course of six days in London and Manchester.
Speakers included Cath Kidston, Liz Earle, Martha Lane Fox and Sarah Wood.
Since it’s launch, AllBright has backed six businesses, including smart consumer devices firm Chiaro and organic baby food brand Piccolo.
Founded by Debbie Wosskow OBE (founder and former CEO of Love Home Swap) and Anna Jones (former CEO of Hearst UK), the club will be based in a five-storey Georgian Townhouse in Bloomsbury.
Members will have unlimited access to the space, receiving invites to curated social events, debates, talks and networking opportunities.
Jones said: “It’s a space for women to convene, host meetings and socialise, with treatment spaces where they can relax and recharge – and not to mention fabulous food and cocktails.”
The company recently closed series A funding, raising £1.85 million, led by a Cain International consortium including leading property developer Galliard Homes.
Co-founder Debbie Wosskow said: “We are delighted to be working with Cain International, Galliard and our group of angel investors. In the ten months since AllBright launched, we have begun to build a network for working women that we hope can make the UK a great place for female founders and executives.
“We’re excited for the next stage of scaling up our platform, events and funding over the coming months.”
